Thinking about Phil's screamer of a goal, he cuts inside and smashes it with a minimal backswing. He doesn't take that extra touch or extra split second that other wingers take. A freakish action which caught all the Liverpool players off guard.

What a player!
The speed at which Foden can shift the ball and shoot is frightening.
The only players I can remember seeing at City who could do that are Agüero and Sané.

I didn't know it was a goal until the ball rebounded from inside the net, your analysis is spot on.

So you have a great young talent at your club. He’s local. He bleeds blue. He’s been playing left wing at an incredible level.

Then he shows that he can do it as a false 9 AND makes your subbed right winger look a total amateur in half the time, after moving over to that position.

Does it get any better?

Will it dawn on Sancho that Foden may become the better player and have the better career due to his patience and willingness to learn from the best manager and train with the best players?

Foden is already starting for one of the best teams in the world and is winning big trophies (2 league titles already, hopefully a 3rd is coming). Sancho may achieve such things one day or may not.
