Pep to some extent has had the shackles on our wide players this season. Ball control has been prioritised. Hopefully with additions this summer, and the finishing of Haaland we can unleash the likes of Foden and Grealish and they can really kick on. Both will excel in drawing players in, gliding past and playing the ball into runners. That's what they both like to do.

4 league titles. YPOTY two times in a row. So much more to come from Phil. Living our dream.

Totally agree. Time to let them run loose Pep.
I can’t wait to see the carnage!

Since I only watch games I actually attend (didn't watch us on telly at all in 20-21) I never feel I'm able to judge players.

But 2 years ago I didn't quite get the Phil hype, just local lad done good, and now I really do. The ball control, dribbling, the runs, the closing down. Astonishing, and more to come.

I actually looked it up, all 3 were born on May 28th, ha
Strangely enough, statistically it is very likely for at least two players to share the same birthday in each club. There was an infographic about PL players' birthdays I saw a long while back that reflects that. Fun fact.

Cancelo and Laporte shares same birthday too :D Interestingly, 27th May, 1 day before the trio.

The probability in question is from the birthday problem, famous in any probability class.

A group of 23 people has about a 50% chance of having atleast one overlapping birthday... BUT

Most of that probability is associated with 2 overlaps, 3 birthdays overlapping is drastically less.

Only 11 English players and 22 players total have more league medals than him.
Giggs - 13
Scholes - 11
Neville - 8
Keane - 7
Beckham, Ferdinand - 6
Aguero, Rooney - 5
Foden - 4

I think he'll overtake most of those providing our rate of success continues.

He likely won't pass Giggs, but if he can reach 10 or 11, then City have done really well in the league!

Does Ferny not have 5 also?
