Gets told to stick to the touchline all game. Might as well be given a flag by Guardiola and told to be an extra linesman.

I don’t think he is told to stay on the touchline all game.

Whenever Grealish comes on these days he immediately makes loads of runs into the box, it’s how he got his goal today and assists last week.

So he seems to be getting told to do that, it’s unlikely they’d ban foden from doing it too.

He didn’t do much midweek in his preferred position. He hasn’t improved like we all thought he would.

Because Guardiola has had him playing all over the damn place. He's never going to show what he's capable of without playing in the same position for a run of games. And his position certainly isn't out wide as a winger.

I admire your defence of Phil, but supposed World class players as we all thought he was going to become are left hugely disappointed.

He has the potential and he’s shown at times that he can be world class. Sounds like your already writing him off though.

He’s still got years to develop and show his talent. I don’t think peps managing him well at the moment

I hope I am wrong but the very best get hold of the ball and impact things and he isnt doing that at all.

This left wing...

Whichever of Phil and Jack starts, I spend the first half thinking maybe this isn't the match for him, we should probably bring the other one on.

Then we bring the other one on and he does well and I think that's the one who should be starting.

Is Pep telling the starter to be ultra conservative and the sub to be aggressive? If he is, it's screwing with our team performances and both players' confidence.
