I think that something happened around the time between away games in Copenhagen and Liverpool.

Afterwards Foden played Liverpool game. Then his minutes are reduced from playing almost all the games at the beginning of the season to rotating with the others. Pep's words implies that Foden carries some discomfort. Maybe an injury. Maybe he overplays at the beginning of the season.

Interesting that, I missed those comments at the time.

i do find it odd how since the last derby i dont think phil has played on the right? our best front line performance this season has been phil grealish haaland. i do feel like this season the right has been the best side for him performace wise

He plays better on the right because he is supported by a better full back on that side. The left side of our team is a disaster zone because we don't have a proper full back there. It's why the good teams always target us on that side.

i think its more to do with playing jack than the fullback.

With phils form and peps past 2 appereances of putting him in midfield do we think that transformation is going to start happening now. Im just theorising because of kevs age and eventuality of being unable to play every 3 days. Just maybe that is something to keep an eye on.

Obviously he wasn’t really involved, but a lot of that was down to cancelo refusing to pass the ball to him.
