I agree he doesn't need to improve his physique because he's a winger.
If he's ever to play in the middle though he absolutely has to work on leg strength/balance, lad gets pushed off the ball by a small breeze. Comparisons to the Silva's are pointless as both of them were/are aggy little fuckers(cant be taught) and are dispossessed(losing the ball when not dribbling) about as half as often as Phil is.

Of course it can,and those saying different are clearly not very clued on on physical conditioning.
He can and has to improve every aspect of his game and he has the talent to do so, just question marks about 'other" issues that he needs to sort out and quickly.

If people think one of the most gifted young players this country has produced at 22yrs old can't improve they need to change sports.

IF any of the rumours are true....Hope he has a sensible mate in his circle that can take him to one side and have a fucking word. I want this kid to dominate the league for years to come.
Which rumors?

He needs to get rid of the hangers on, difficult but it has to be done, they will destroy his career.

Silva was around 23 when he joined and didn’t really start to shine until the following season , also mainly playing from the wing

all I’m saying is he will have ups and downs as every kid does but give it a few years and he’ll be the best player in our team

only slight worry I have is his rough round the edges personal life which hopefully he grows out of in time
But Foden has shone already at City, the lads a natural. He probably going through his first dip in form. All players have dips in form.
