He's better centrally of course but kdb is the best there is. they'll be room for him there as and when which he will have to continue to grasp and make yhe most of but he alsobhas to make sure he's the best option on either wing as that's his easiest route in with a fully fit squad.

Selection and set up meant he had to stay wide today, sometimes he will have more freedom to come in and do his thing, today he wasn't the focal point but he still had his role to play and he did so.

I feel he will still get games centrally as KDB minutes will be managed.

It is great succession planning and we should be happy.

I would have loved Nunes to be replaced by Bernardo and have KDB and Foden as AM’s similar to D Silva/ KDB.

However, they are both so forward thinking and risk takers that I only see it rarely and in situations where we are chasing a game.

He continues to inform the press about his preferred position, but I hope he communicates directly with Pep, although he is likely already aware.

He makes much better decisions recently. Always looking to make a positive pass or run, but not at the cost of losing the ball in dangerous areas. Getting better and better the more he plays centrally. He is decisive for us pretty much every game at the moment.

He deserves to play centrally.
I was surprised to see Nunes start ahead of him against Burnley, but maybe because he provides more drive from midfield. Don't mind seeing Phil on LW though, as long as he's playing regularly he'll get better. He also got a good assist for Rodri.
