Another utterly brilliant goal. Workrate off the scale again. Really hope his dead leg isn’t serious and he’s right as rain for next week’s second leg at the Etihad. It was reassuring to hear from him directly after the match and Pep making relative light of his knock by saying he was annoyed to be subbed off. Of course you never really know until the next day but fingers are crossed over here.

He’s been one of our best players this season but he looked nervous till he scored, he played like he was playing for England today.
