Boy became a man this season. Mantle was passed from kev to phil. We AGAIN have the best midfielder in the prem. I think hell kick on again next season. exciting times. Genuinely think he can become the best player the league has ever seen. And thats by no means any disrespect to kev or silva.

Watching the replay of his first goal, and wow. You can't strike a ball better than that—three more goals from outside the box than the next highest in the league.

He has a similarity to Robben in that you know they're gonna receive the ball or cut inside on their left and shoot, but it's still so hard to stop it happening.

I remember I used to watch Robben and wonder how he could do it so often when everyone what he's gonna do, defenders know but he was still able to do it. Obviously its just pure quality, skill, timing etc etc.

Foden also has that about him. Doesn't matter if you know what he wants to do because he will do it anyway. Its a bit like a magic trick.

27 non-penalty goals is a phenomenal achievement, and many were decisive. Phil stepped up when we needed him the most.

He'll get better. Has the potential to become the best English player ever.
