Foden is a complete mystery, he was world fucking class last season but how does most of a team turn to shit ?
Yeah Kev and Gundo are worn out, but all the rest are now average at best including Phil, Eddie, Akanji, Jack and Bernie.

I'm fucking baffled.

If you go pedal to the metal, you run out of gas!

(A lot sooner than expected)

Wilshere had glass ankles, the surgeon who worked on his initial injury was surprised he was still walking when he saw him 5 years later.

Gotze had a rare metabolic disorder.

Ronaldo was still unreal he just loved partying and was about 12kg’s overweight.

Balotelli was just a nutcase.

Dunno what’s happening with Phil, unless the club have been deliberately quiet about whatever illnesses or issues he was having at the start of the season, and it was more serious than let on, then really nothing has happened for him to lose all form and physicality.

I reckon it’s all mental personally. He’ll be back anyway, back the lad.
I've liked your post.

But I'm not having the " balotelli was just a nutcase" I can't just leave that there..

Our former player was born into a black family, but given away ,as a child to a white family in Italy,...
Growing up in those circumstances,...in Italy, must have been hard, and when any child is uprooted from their
natural surroundings it's gonna leave mental scars and trauma.,

This " nutcase" had the presence of mind to take time out from his professional football career
to visit an orphange in Italy, for unwanted children. In Italy ,the land of high Art and Fashion...having a. disabled
child was often too much for the parents...,.children were given away ,,not wanted.

Balotelli had set a date for this visit, and it just so happened to coincide with some trophy parade with City under Mancini. Mario decided he would honour his appointment, miss the celebrations in Manchester and flew back to Italy to visit the unwanted kids.
There is footage somewhere on the net of the moment Mario walks into the room, and the kids go mad weeping with joy.....so excited that a top footballer has come to visit them, even if their own parents didn't want them
So when I think of our ex player, I know his mind was in the right place.....so much for being a " nutcase"

Deffo a bit of a media pile-on on Foden going on. Sure, he’s been mediocre at best this season. It’s forgivable after a stellar season/s previously. However, if this malaise continues then the club have a huge decision to make. Let’s hope he comes back firing. I genuinely feel he just needs a goal to get things going again.
The club has a huge decision to make? What do you mean by that.

Support him and get him back to his best sounds enough to me

He’s had one poor season.. as have most of the squad.
True and he definitely needs support. I think in the ground he’s had support. Well, certainly no stick. We just have to hope he comes back to being the player he can be in time. It’s just far more baffling to see a player so talented look so average for so long. With the other players it was going to happen one day due to age. To see Phil look so physically shot to bits is quite bizarre.

Question is...why ?
Off the field stuff...nothing serious but enough to scramble your brain. That is the reason.

Aging has effected Gundo, KDB, Walker and Berni

Rodri was the best player in the world last 2 years, he is the glue. Massive impact

Erling is still the key together with Rodri

Injuries overall have impacted

Average purchasers such as Nunes, Kovacic and Phillips. Good players but not good enough for us.

Failure to blood the great youngsters eg Nico O Reilly and Divin Mukasa.

jack gaughan done an article about foden struggles with physical issues and brain fog and him reading all social media stuff about him so think before you say anything on social media they read it all you never know how that's gonna effect someone

You were doing OK until the last comment.

if arsenal are willing to blood 18 year old skelley why not us with Mukasa

10 years watching the eds, hes the stand out with Phil and Cole

A shame Pep isn’t a man-manager. He needs an Arteta type to help with this sort of stuff with players. We saw it with Sterling on the Amazon documentary a few years ago, and the work Arteta did in the background with him.

If this is true then it’s probably time he was moved on for his own benefit I think.

I love Foden and really thought he was going to become the world’s best but various factors have meant he hasn’t been able to do that.

Being at one of the very best football clubs in the world I have no doubt is draining but the best players rise to the occasion each and every season. No point in sacrificing your mental wellbeing to try and please anyone, a step down where there is less pressure would do him the world of good, West Ham or someone like that.

have you not seen the fact he has physical issues probably cause by an illness of some sort and fans say he should leave is really gonna help him

Quite possibly the worst post I’ve ever read on bluemoon.

Saw a post somewhere criticising him for only providing 3 assists for Haaland. Well there’s about 4 chances he creates for him here in the first 2 mins alone

Nah , he’s shite we should just sell him

Some idiots on this thread saying he doesn’t create anything , just watch the first 5 minutes of that video …
