I thought he worked much harder today, there was a number of times where we gave the ball away sloppily and he got it back, that was more like it and he got a goal as well, of course he's still far from his true level but I hope today will kick start his season.

Nowhere near back to his best but looks like the fitness/hunger is coming back.

Hopefully his genius sharpness will come back with another game or two. We desperately need Phil on fire.

Agree. Thought he worked hard today and did really well tracking back when our ridiculous short corner led to the West Ham player nearly through on goal

Forget the goal. Another massively disappointing performance and he took the simple option of passing the ball back every time. Whe you look at the attacking play of Savinho it was so frustrating watching him offer so little in attack...never took his man on. City fans praising him for running after he lost the ball...that's the minimum expectation. James McAtee must be given a chance as he's looking a far better option than Foden at the moment. I just pray that Phil can recapture his form from last season.

Fucking delusional, Mcatee who has done the sum total of fuck all in his premier league career is a better option than playing Phil and getting him back to his best which let's not forget was being the best player on the league, based on James doing a shimmy and passing the ball forwards last week?
