47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

So he is allowed to have a bad patch because he gets better later on? How about being consistent over the whole course? Isn’t that expected of someone who supposed to be the face of a top 3 club.

Only fucking idiots expect that.

Every single one of our players has gone through several patches of shit form. That's the nature of the game.

There are too many people on here who miss the bigger picture and think they're entitled to world class performances every week. Don't be one of them.

I thought he played fine. He made good decisions when he did get the ball.

As most good teams and managers do versus us, they clog up the middle and force everything out wide. I'm trying to figure out what people want him to do.

He created the most chances in the game and won the most duels, according to Fotmob, which matches what my eyes saw.

Sorry pal but "fine" isn't good enough, if this was Bellingham playing like this every week we'd be laughing at the hype, his season hasn't started at all and we're in November.

He's barely played this season, and he was still far and away our best player versus Bournemouth and, to an even higher extent, Sporting.

Last season he was starting on the wing and making himself undroppable by coming centrally.

This season he’s starting centrally and being phased out to the wing every game because he’s been useless.

Love Phil but he gets way to much leeway. There's always an excuse when he doesn't play well. It's others that can't finish, or the system doesn't suit him, or he's wasted out wide.

He's in his age 25 season and is actually a bit older then KDB when we bought him, and hasn't been able to show he can play the same position consistently for club or country.

He's a great player, on his day, but his potential (and what we need him to be) is more than that.

I keep reading and hearing he's a generational player and he just hasn't shown that, and I don't think anyone would be saying it if he hadn't come through the academy.

I welcome my incoming ban.
