In the middle he makes such a big difference.
He is better in the middle for sure.In the middle he makes such a big difference.
They did their homework on him. Doubled whenever he got it on his left for a shot. But so much better inside rightHe is better in the middle for sure.
But he still wasnt as good as he needs to be.
Kev should be on the bench.Just totally pointless out wide. Kev should go out wide & Phil inside
Yeah they were all over him and he rushed his shots. Such a relief when he went central though. Frustrating first half. They did their homework on him. Doubled whenever he got it on his left for a shot. But so much better inside right
This. They literally man-marked him the whole second half. They did their homework on him. Doubled whenever he got it on his left for a shot. But so much better inside right
Or drifting in from the right! In the middle he makes such a big difference.
When he properly broke through a few years ago, he played his best football on the left, shining in wins against PSG and Dortmund. He used to glide past players. He struggles to get past players for some reason now. He’s only 24, at that age you are stronger and just as quick as when you were 20.When's the last time he dribbled past someone? Not offering anything if he isnt a goal threat and can't be a goal threat on the left with how 1 footed he is.
Hasn't he scored 6 goals in last y or 7 games. When's the last time he dribbled past someone? Not offering anything if he isnt a goal threat and can't be a goal threat on the left with how 1 footed he is.
Might want to reread it as you've misunderstood what i said. I said IF he's not a goal threat he's not offering anything not that has hasnt been a goal threat. Then i said he cannot be a goal threat from the left, he played off the left tonight for the first time in ages and didn't score or look like scoring.Hasn't he scored 6 goals in last y or 7 games.
Is that not a goal threat?.
Back the young blue.
Don't knock him
Much better through the middle.Tried to make things happen on the left, but it's just not the best suit for him. Much better shifted to the right.
He said he’s offering nothing if he’s not a goal threat. That’s very true. He’s been scoring plenty so is well worth his place at the moment. From the left that goal threat goes down significantly and as we seen last night he no longer has that burst of pace to go past his man on the outside.Hasn't he scored 6 goals in last y or 7 games.
