47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

Tbh my comment was in response to a poster saying he should have a good few months to recuperate . I wish I could have time off but I have to work like everyone else .
I would say exactly the same about anyone in any industry or walk of life who is suffering from burn-out.

City have a duty of care to take care of all staff and we have a duty of care as supporters to insist that our Club takes care of the players.

Not sure how anyone could have a problem with that.

Don’t we all need a rest mate but it’s called life and we have to work for our money . He gets paid a lot of money to play football and I’m sorry I hope he feels better he needs to just get on with it .
Oh dear, do you really think he can play with bronchitis? Aside from the fact we don’t want him spreading his infection around the club

I wouldn’t mind him playing in Bernardo’s position from last night when he’s back. Keep Grealish where he is. But ultimately he’s getting thrown back in at some point soon anyway with KDB’s fitness issues.

Can't wait until he's back and will hit form.

KDB, Grealish and Foden, along with a new midfielder, and the league will be shitting themselves.
Depends whether the back four is Ederson at left back, SimpsonPusey and Walker at centre back and Lewis at right back through the Winter though. The way they’re dropping like flies week-after-week at the back is going to stop us being as good as we could be.

Perhaps our medics advised him not to play ?

Pretty sure that's part of their role.
If it is bronchitis, I have only had this once and I was about 24 or 25. So it was a long time ago. I was signed off work for two weeks and I wasn't great after that and remember I was proper poorly. If he has got bronchitis he'll be on antibiotics and will feel like crap. He won't be back for a good three weeks at least, no matter how first class the facilities, it's not like a pulled muscle that will get top notch treatment.

I made a post earlier about bronchitis but then deleted as I couldn't be arsed.

I had it when I was a kid in Manchester. My parents had to make me up a bed downstairs because I couldn't get up the stairs without gasping for air half way up.
Not sure if I ever received antibiotics but it was not good.

I got it again the first year I was in Canada and collapsed on the side of the road.

Muddle through my bollocks (please excuse my French) ; )

Why even bring him if he's not able to play ten minutes? He wasn't deemed sick enough to get others ill.

There was a giant hole in that RCM spot for him to get shots off.
