Ok mate. Maddison absolutely ran the show and my comment was if they swap shirts today, would Phil have produced the same performance, my observation is no. What is weird about that. I think Phil is a fantastic footballer however what we think and want him to be are maybe two different things.

True. Foden doesn’t dictate many games. He was brilliant last season scoring worldies but he’s not kicked on in his career overall as we all thought he would. Especially when it comes to dictating games.

Phil made a few decent runs and passes in the first 15 minutes and then faded, he's a bit jaded but he'll come good again I am sure of that.
