Agree. But he dictated the game today ahead of our Phil so fair play to him.Maddison is a very good footballer but at 28 still struggles to hold down a regular spot in a very average Spurs side. Hardly what we should be aspiring to as the heir the KDB throne.

Last season, Phil was fantastic in terms of goals, especially given that he didn't take pens. But even last season he wasn't particularly creative, which is a bit surprising. He has the talent to create a lot more chances.
Take both games vs Real. That great goal at Bernabeu aside, he was largely anonymous. Should be a lot more involved in our attacks. Again, he has the ability.

I was told today by a reliable source that the stomach illness he had has not been able to be diagnosed as yet and he’s still not fully recovered.
Well if that's the case you can forgive him for his performances this season

If Phil is still suffering from the illness then why is Pep persisting with him in the team while Nunes, Grealish and Mcatee pick splinters out of their arses?

Ok mate. Maddison absolutely ran the show and my comment was if they swap shirts today, would Phil have produced the same performance, my observation is no. What is weird about that. I think Phil is a fantastic footballer however what we think and want him to be are maybe two different things.Weirdo.

Phil made a few decent runs and passes in the first 15 minutes and then faded, he's a bit jaded but he'll come good again I am sure of that.
