You can forgive a misplaced pass. There is no footballer in the world that passes 100%. What you can’t forgive is a lack of effort off the ball and yet again he was shocking.

I think mistakes are excusable but his complete lack of defensive effort AFTER the poor passes is inexcusable. Just behaved like a training cone during transitions and couldnt be bothered to get out of a jog the rest of his time on the field. Thats a problem.

I watch the games on mute and missed what happened in the led up to arsenals second goal sky sports showed at least 8 images of stones face after the restart I thought he had dropped an akanji style blunder but turns out it was star boy foden who’s passing has somehow gotten worse since he was 17. Strange

Kovacic, Grealish and Bernardo in CM. 3 of Marmoush, Haaland, Foden, Savinho and Doku up front would be my choice. Obviously Grealish is never going to play for us again so no idea who else to try there though!

Just a shocking pass from Foden but in slight mitigation the ref was blocking his view.
