He’d been shite for two years. Stones was behind Garcia in the pecking order and then Pep went and signed two more CBs, so I don’t think it’s unfair to suggest that even Pep thought Stones was done.

He’s had a fantastic few weeks but let’s not rewrite history.

I don’t know, Dias has been phenomenal. i wouldn’t be surprised if his aura/confidence isn’t part of the reason stones looks so assured.

Tremendous game again but I'm glad Guardiola mentioned his missed chance in the post game interview. He totally missed what looked like a free header. It's not his fault overall but we have to score more chances from set pieces. We're creating 2/3 solid chances a game from set pieces and scoring fuck all.
