Haven't clicked on a Daily Mail link for a long time but that was worth it. Top marks to Stones, he's well on the way to a brilliant comeback. Seems to be made of much sterner stuff than people give him credit for.

Pleased for Stones. He hasn't proved to be consistent during his time with us , for a number of reasons, but his current performances offer a real demonstration of what he is capable of.
Let's hope he can keep this current standard up, his confidence grows and he become the player we hoped he would be when we signed him.
Stopping those cunts tomorrow will be another step in his recovery..

Rolls Royce. He looks like a guy who's found his confidence and love of the game again...
He looked our best player again. Dias did well overall, so it's telling for me at least when I say Stones looked a cut above.
There was a moment in the 2nd half where he showed his confidence further up the field with a nice bit of dribbling before playing the smart ball. How I've missed that.

Was excellent again. The centre back partnership is a major positive at the moment, especially given others aren’t at the races.
Developing a good partnership with Dias. Laporte may struggle to get back into the team.
I wonder if we might see 3 at the back.
