Hats off to him for turning it around. I thought he was finished with us after he last season or two but credit to him for turning it around. I’m sure Ake was signed with this in mind too!

I remember my dad telling me about the stick a young Joe Corrigan got from some of our so called fans. He became one of the greats. I also witnessed, first hand, the abuse Richard Edgehill got. Never understood it. Stones has dug himself out of a dark hole and that's not easy, whatever your occupation. Keep it up, lad. CTID.

Stonesies 2nd goal was an absolute beauty for a defender, the way he kept it down and smashed it in the net, and with his left foot.

really pleased he got his head down and worked to get back into this team.
