Let's be honest, if he plays it will probably be the same as having a night off with a short jog after tea.

San Marino will always be a game for the possibles rather than the probables. Southgate will probably go full strength to get the point.

Getting back into his stride after a stop/start season , with Dias the best centre back pairing we have , laporte can have no complaints about losing his place after the Palace debacle , but he will be invaluable over a season , whether Laporte has the patience to gather splinters in his arse on the bench is another thing , because he will want to play for Spain in the world cup.
