Yep, and it's completely intentional, not just hoof and hope.

Yeah he actually had his head up, it was intentional and Haaland! Something Haaland does to avoid the offside trap, he gets on the same position as the defender and then he runs wide (sideways) instead of running straight at goal, that way he forces the defender to run backwards causing the offside trap to fail and once the defender runs backwards THEN Haaland starts running towards the goal post. Alvarez would learn a lot by watching Haaland's movement,it's not all about the straight run towards the opposition end.
