Who knows how they determine these nominations. Anyhow John, Josko, Ruben and Kyle all deserve to be.

Nobody said he didn't but John Stones deserved to be on the list also, as a City fan you will have noticed his supreme performances for years and understand that very few players could go from CB to DM to virtually AM without so much as a second thought.

Gvardiol is just starting out on his journey and I am sure he will be a cracking player when he reaches his peak but Stones is ahead of him in most aspects currently, he will be Stone's full replacement in time imo.

He’s turning into that vintage car that gets brought out the garage on a Sunday. Keep the engine ticking over and catch some admiring glances.
 
Fingers crossed the substitution was just a precaution.
