I love John Stones, though not as much as @Eccles Blue, obviously, and I hope he can stay fit this coming season.

almost certainly not. They won't risk him in this game with so little pre season under his belt. We may well see Josko and Phillips.

Oh I didn’t think he’d play, especially the full match, but I haven’t heard that he’s actually training with the squad as yet.
Just missing his smiling face!! ;-)
Plus I wanted to be sure he’s returned from holiday. :-)
