I understand and agree mainly with what you are saying but I just can't give up on him as yet. :-) :-) Sorry.Staunch as ever. :-)
I have no axe to grind, but the events of this season are going to bring into sharp focus the contract situations of de Bruyne (June '25) Stones (June '26), Ake (June '27), and Grealish (Jun, '27). Their lack of dependability stretches a thin squad further and adds to the burden of others, meaning they also run a higher risk of injury. Their situations will be an interesting challenge for Viana.
He could move in with you full time then! Are you trying to ruin my Christmas??? ;-) :-)
Both if his body has failed or he can’t play at the level he wants. From international football or domestic football? He'll only just have turned 32.
Unless there is some miraculous turnaround in his physical condition, I don't think he has much sale value and cannot see him heading for Saudi Arabia, so I think you can keep the Kleenex under wrap until June '26. I imagine he'll bow out then with Bernardo.I understand and agree mainly with what you are saying but I just can't give up on him as yet. :-) :-) Sorry.
I have to have something to hang on to while I'm in pain. *lol* (not looking for sympathy just a ray of sunshine in the form of JB)
he should've retired after '22Wonder if there’s a slight possibility of Stones retiring after the 26 World Cup…
And miss out on his best season and win the treble?!he should've retired after '22
i meant from internationals, pardonAnd miss out on his best season and win the treble?!
Of course it's a fucking injury. Some of these comments. Fuck me. It’s not even been confirmed to be an injury.
Don’t forget that Ake can only seemingly play 45 minutes too. And Dias is still out. Where’s this ‘get rid’ energy for those two?!
Boulders will be back and if it means Pep needs to play him for 45 minutes to get him back to full fitness then so be it. He’s unique in terms of what he offers defensively and offensively.
Don’t forget too, he’s scored a last minute equaliser and a last minute winner for the team this season. Not bad for a player who should’ve been fucked off due to injuries.
Christ.
