5 | John Stones - 2024/25

I do have to wonder how soft some of our players and over cautious our doctors are, these guys should be able to play with little niggles if we are on the bones of our arse with squad depletion. I love Stones but he never plays, he’s getting paid a fortune sometimes just grin and bear it.

The guy just can't keep fit.

Rolls Royce of a player but might be time to replace with a younger more robust player.

he is also on very high wages. if we can get im to extend his contract with a lower base salary I'd keep him. otherwise to brittle to demand that kind of money.

He has been a very good player for us and certainly warranted the Rolls Royce title during the treble season, but I don’t think he’s been that great over the past year. Certainly not at his best.

Not having a consistent run of games has clearly hampered him and he is one of those players who needs a few appearances to get up to speed, but it’s been a while since he’s been on his best form.

That said I can’t him leaving in the summer, even if we do buy another centre half.

Is that speaking from your professional and considered medical experience ?

You can create an account on transfermarkt and set any price you want.
are you an admin on there or talking out of your arse? I am a member since 2006. all 6 months they debate the market values. pretty sure thats how it works, atleast for the german ones etc. possible that they "outsource" leagues they do not have enough knowledge of. citys values are always a bit of a miss.

No that’s talking from working with a bad back, fucked up knees for years, when we are on the bones of our arse maybe just maybe it’s time to step up. He’s ok to go play for England after not playing for us and then get injured again, he should say fuck that until I’m playing regular for City that should go on the back burner, same with Walker, KDB etc.
