Disappeared off the face of the earth. I love Stones but we need to get rid. Made of glass and getting no younger.
Oh Johnny Stones, he's got peanut brittle in his bones. And he's soft like peanut butter, we better kick him in the gutter; )Any news of John Boy? Has he started training again yet?
Will he have a better 2025 than 2024?
Am I leaving myself open to abuse? :-)
Thank you. Thank you. :-)For reference. Stones last played on 21st December. Dias last played on 15th December.
But it only seems to be Johnny Boulders getting certain aggy treatment. Maybe warranted because of injury history but certain comments about this season are questionable.
Thank you. Thank you. :-)
I mean if you want to compare games played to Dias then its a losing battle in just the premier league Dias has played 13, Stones 8.For reference. Stones last played on 21st December. Dias last played on 15th December.

What a pile of crap. For reference. Stones last played on 21st December. Dias last played on 15th December.

Love the guy, but it’s time to give him a painting of a spitfire and let him go.
What a pile of crap.
John Stones played 18 games last season and so far this 8 games.
Dias in the same period has played 43 games.
John Stones was a great player but sadly he is broken and his time is over.
Players who don’t constantly have different injuries. Great player but he’s fucked unfortunatelyI’m just saying. Where’s the same questions for players who have currently been out longer?
As I said in my original post, maybe the questions are warranted. But they seem to be focused on just one player and not others who are having similar injury issues.

Pep says we are going to be cautious with John Stones. To me that means that the club are not selling him. Pep acknowledges that John is working hard to get right and also, from Pep’s words it’s obvious he trusts him. In Pep I trust.
John Boy will be back soon. :-) :-)
John Stones has had injuries issues his whole career and sadly as he gets older they are clearly getting worse.I’m just saying. Where’s the same questions for players who have currently been out longer?

I just can't see who would take him this summer, this present injury seems a serious one, maybe enough to finish him at the top level? If he goes in the summer it’ll be sad but the right decision.
I just hope he comes back and stays fit long enough to go out on something of a high.
One of my favourite Pep era players and it’s so frustrating to see him constantly knocked down by injury - and it’s not going to get any better now he’s older.
Posted a couple of times that reports sound like he’s got Planter Fasciitis. If true only extended rest (months) fully cures. I can see him staying till end of contract - end next season and leaving.I just can't see who would take him this summer, this present injury seems a serious one, maybe enough to finish him at the top level?
