We don't want him sold, we want him fit.
A fit John stones is as good as any centre half who's played in the Premier league.
Best ones are terry.
Rubber face coke head.

And van prick at the dippers.
Oh and vinny
A fit John stones is on that level.
But keeping him fit is the hard bit.
One of my favourite city players .
Defo in last 20 years.
Good old Barnsley boy like me grandad.
Who by the way wasn't happy when my old man took me to maine rd instead of Oakwell.
For the 1st 30 years I used to think why the fuck have you made me come here.
Only kidding I'd not swap those days for anything

World class. I can’t believe how many posters on here want him sold
He makes us better by a considerable margin, but he pulls a hamstring when he blinks so that’s why people what him sold. This season would look a whole lot different if one of Stones or Ake were fit. Rodri was a killer, but I still think we could have gave this season a good go without all the other injuries.

A really lovely player to watch. No doubt he makes us better. And he improves with game time.

His injury record is a tragedy. It's the only argument against him being an all-time great.

I wouldn't sell him. But it's not my money, so I can afford to be sentimental.

He is world clsss has it all but if he players more than two games a week the chance of him getting injured is very high!

Because hes too unreliable fitness wise? Not sure whats hard to understand with that.

Yes , a real too drawer player, but not when hes sat on the sidelines.
Its not his fault of course but players need to stay fit as well as actually be able to play
You could say the same about Dias and Ake. For me his leadership, talent and experience is enough, even with injuries

6 months of stones being fit can make the difference in us winning a trophy

If he stays fit we will comfortably finish top 4 and it’ll give us a fighting chance vs Bayern/Madrid

He should ditch of England and concentrate on city. England always flog him to death, him and KDB should be managed carefully and can be really valuable to us if done correctly.

He is a brilliant player, I have no idea how he can go for an indefinite period of injury free time. It’s like it’s not built in him, but I really wish it was.

Will be 32 when his contract expires in 2026 and it's hard to see him leaving before or staying beyond that. Hope the club can work with him to devise a plan that maximises his playing time in the coming months, as we will not only benefit as a team from his presence but he'll also help bring on the younger defenders.
