I hope he was played more because he didn't want Laporte injured, but it might be because he wanted Garcia to get a medal.

I think the problem is that he doesn't really do anything wrong... he just doesn't do anything right.

He looks out of place physically.
 
The real bizarre thing is he is going to Barcelona FFS, not Barnsley which is more his level. I very very rarely criticise our players, but he is really poor.
 
That he took the shot instead of squaring to an unmarked player says it all... and then he laughed.

Bet Ake and Laporte are well pleased this guy is played ahead of them.

I mean the shot at the end is bad, but I simply mean generally.

Garcia doesn't really make "mistakes" like we have seen our defenders make in the past.

It's just that he doesn't offer any stability.

He had already played enough games (5) that means we have to give him a PL medal.

Intentionally passing the ball to someone or scoring an own goal, yeah he doesn't do that but he can't run, tackle, turn whilst moving. Its incredible that he is professional footballer.
