I honestly rather would have seen Mendy on that side. He's usually not too bad in games when our backs are against the wall and he actually knows the position, even if it's the opposite side. At one point I actually started counting how many times Garcia actually either blocked the cross or forced the attacking player to pass backwards again. It wasn't often.
