Said it before, he might be a wonderful person but he isn’t good enough for a top half premier league side let alone a top two side. Wasn’t just his performance tonight either but every time I have seen him. Five goals conceded against Leicester, three tonight, three against Newcastle etc. I know each time it hasn’t been our strongest 11 but even so he has been a common denominator. As long as night follows day he will never make it at the very top which is currently what we need.

I am a supporter for 55 years and SOME of the abuse of the player by keyboard cowards, gutter talk from the sewer and anti Spanish garbage posted here has no place in football support. It wasn't 55 years ago or 40 years ago or now, but just excuse it as "passion" or "part of the game" , "that's football" or call it out as an embarrassment to decent sport loving supporters, suit yourself.
