Very true.
Mangala and Mendy had bad injuries soon after joining us and have not returned to the levels we expected them to be at.
Not sure how good they could be.
In Akes case , there is no point in playing him when we have a full squad fit and available.
I am guessing he will get game time in the remaining league matches and be ready fully fit and up to speed for the start of next season

I don't get it. You'd put Ake on the bench even if not fully fit? Bench players still need to be prepared and fit. If 1 of the 3 CB's went down early in the game due to an injury you'd have to chuck on a half fit Ake who may get injured even further. That's something Liverpool would do and then wonder why they have so many injuries. Garcia gave Dias a few minutes of rest when the game was clearly over. I don't see a problem with it.

It is being reported now that after getting Garcia to burn his bridges with us, Barca have dropped the contract they were offering him. Pretty typical Barca behaviour, but you do wonder who is advising this lad. Garcia has quite a dilemma on his hands now.
