It’s good business if you only look at it from a financial point of view. I guess it depends what you want - an academy that produces first team players or an academy that makes money. Right now there’s not really a middle ground.

For me as a fan I couldn’t care less about the money side. I want these lads to be given a chance and in our first team. Hopefully Bobb gets a chance

watched the 2nd half until OB came off, Norway dominated, Oscar was out wide right, occasionally they'd shoot the ball out to him to fiddle around a bit

Seems like the club are really hot on Bobb, I've certainly seen plenty that I like from his cameos in Pre season and last weekend. Hopefully he can keep on taking his chances.

Don't think he's especially quick but he's very clever. When I used to watch him in the youth team he would always find pockets of space, like Phil he automatically receives the ball on the half turn a lot aswell which gives him a half yard head start.

Seems like an exciting prospect although how's his shooting skills?

One thing I was confident with Palmer is he could score some crackers right from a youth level & with a majority teams setting up a low block against us sometimes a great strike is what makes a difference in tight games.

In terms of change of pace, perhaps not. But he's got very quick feet, hasn't he? That's something he shares with Phil. But comparisons with Phil are unfair for any young player. Phil was Player of the Tournament in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup. You don't see that every day, even from the best.

U21 duty: Norway 7 - 0 Latvia, Bobb got the 4th goal and assisted the 6th. Played the whole 90, RW, but roams across the top of the box if he wants. Watched from 30m until the end. Bobb got better as it went along - he sorta owned the last 20 mins or so. Norway U21s are fun to watch, seems like all of them play like Bobb. Haaland's world cup dream might have legs if these boys can translate their tiki-taka on snowshoes to the men's team some day.

Add in Nusa who looks a player and if Bobb makes the step up from the U21’s which I think he will (possibly in the next 12 months) then Norway do look quite menacing.

Norway's horrendous defense still needs to be solved to have any realistic chance to qualify for Euro/World Cup.
