You know you’ve got a player, when there’s a buzz in the crowd when he comes on. Fantastic player and needs to starting games next season.

I think he will. He'll see sporadic time now we're a at the business end but I expect he'll break out next season.

Liked him sticking a foot in, lots of youngsters run around and chase down everything but most of them do it for show, even Foden used to do it when he first came through but Bobb pressed today from thr front with the intention of winning the ball back where possible. Small but positive cameo from him.

I think it was quite telling pep trusted him to play those last few minutes and also knowing a goal means extra time. we all know how pep often makes no changes unless they're forced so him getting that little cameo tells a lot imo.

I feel for Alvarez in many ways, he’s being asked to contribute in a position that he just isn’t suited to just behind the striker, but he’s been so poor for a while now. It was a huge chance for him today to stake a claim, but his confidence looks all over the show.

My main hope is that the lack of minutes is down to it being his first proper first team season.

He recently signed a new contract and I doubt we’ll make the same mistake again letting a youngster go unless he forces himself out.

Shame about the lack of minutes, though.

Sure Musiala is generational, but we dont need attacking midfielders, Bobb is obscenely talented.

Lets reinforce the areas we need to, Midfield and Defense.
