The narrative plays about amongst the fans who never go, on social media. Then when it comes to actually getting off their arses and going to a game, they have a shock when they see that the Twitter myths are actually untrue.

Rare to see a United fan not bs about the City support.
That reminds me, I had some idiot trying to claim the atmosphere in the Spurs CL game was terrible and that's why we lost. I don't like thinking about that game to this day but that example sums most of them up. They don't even make an attempt to make their lies credible, every Spurs fan who went to that game was saying the exact opposite, I seem to remember BT praising the atmosphere too(which means it was fantastic).

some city fan did a utd 1 which said 10,000 free seats and so on, so I put it on the Utd fans Facebook page and he went fucking mad about it, and i asked him what the ground holds which he said 75k and proud of it and i said well why was there only71k there and Leeds fans were in the home end, still waiting

It's what happens when you create a social media platform and give a voice to all the morons and dickheads to express their IQ deficient literary contributions with little or no censure. Twitter is a cesspit of jibe and hate filled commentators with an opinion on everything, particularly their bile filled rhetoric about City whipped up by the equally hateful narcisists in our media, the likes of Solekohl and Harris spring to mind. I've never wanted anything to do with it and my life is no worse of without it.
