I doubt that there would be that much difference between our "Friday" team and our "Sunday" team. Both would likely to be similar to our team for the Villa game - new injuries + returning players deemed to need game time. I don't think Aguero and Silva would start if the game is played on Friday.

I wouldn't even play Willy, Clichy, Demi or Fernando. Bony and Mangala will need match practice though

Good. With injuries, fixture congestion and the tough draw this simply has to be done sooner or later. Imagine we can still give them a game with our back up players and a kid or two

Even if it was Friday or Saturday I'd still field a weakened side to be honest, as things stand this is currently 4th on our list of priorities

I'd say our Villa team will be closer to our Kiev team than Chelsea team at this rate. From the injuries we've currently got it's looking like only Kompany will be in contention for a place when those games come around
