19 November 2011 - Newcastle (H)
22 November 2011 - Napoli (A)
27 November 2011 - Liverpool (A)
29 November 2011 - Arsenal (A)
3 December 2011 - Norwich (H)
7 December 2011 - Bayern Munich (H)

This is probably the biggest point in our season so far. At the moment we are top of the league, and still in another 3 cup competitions, however, without wanting to sound the optimist, we could be out of 2 of them comps and back down to 3rd.
Hopefully we don't pick up any injuries.

Wouldn't bat an eyelid if we lose in the Carling Cup thingy.

And I would gladly sacrifice the Chumps League, if it meant us maintaining the lead in the League.

This season, the League is the Grail, next year will be an repeat assault on the Chumps.

Lets just (fingers crossed!) get a title under our belts first.

You definitely aren't sounding the optimist by saying we could be out of 2 comps and down to 3rd

..and this after that

12 December 2011 - Chelsea
18 December 2011 - Arsenal

If we were to win Napoli, what would you think to putting out the second side against Bayern so as to rest key individuals for Chelsea and arsenal?

only makes complete and total sense.

It's a very difficult run of games we've got coming up:

19 Nov 15:00 H Newcastle United Premier League
22 Nov 19:45 A Napoli Champions League
27 Nov 16:00 A Liverpool Premier League
29 Nov 20:00 A Arsenal Carling Cup
03 Dec 15:00 H Norwich City Premier League
07 Dec 19:45 H Bayern Munich Champions League
12 Dec 20:00 A Chelsea Premier League
18 Dec 16:10 H Arsenal Premier League

We're not going to win them all, so this is Mancini's time to show his nous. We'll see a lot of rotation, so hopefully we won't get the usual hand wringing in the match day forum when Silva isn't selected for every game, although I doubt it.

In many ways these next eight games will define our season, so it's exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. At least we go into it full of confidence and with relatively few injury concerns.

Personally I can't wait, as the international break has been incredibly tedious, but it's going to be a difficult spell. Roll on Saturday...

I like them in the league games. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal will play to win which will play right into City's hands and see them picked apart.

Nothing else matters but I'd expect them to put in an inspired performance at Napoli.
