6 games in 19 days

Wont be easy, will take a whole squad effort but i have faith in the squad and the squads fitness.

If we win the big games against the big clubs, it KEEPS us top of the league at Christmas and puts even more space between us and the rest. ALL ELSE is secondary!

it would be WONDERFUL to get to the knockout stages of the CL, but tying at home against Napoli and getting spanked by BM when we were on the front foot has proven costly. Now, we have to learn from that or take our lumps and move on.

Winning the league is the be all and end all for City this season. End of.

So let me get this straight, you think a draw and a defeat in four games in the top club competition in the world have been costly, and that we should win all our games against the big clubs in the premier league, and if we don't win the premier league we haven't achieved the "be all and end all"? I think a reality check is just around the corner for some fans .....

The first loss is probably coming in the next month... hopefully Bluemoon doesn't melt down too badly, everyone is used to winning or at worst drawing now (Munich aside) and the first loss in a while is going to cause some craziness.

Wouldn't bat an eyelid if we lose in the Carling Cup thingy.
And I would gladly sacrifice the Chumps League, if it meant us maintaining the lead in the League.

This season, the League is the Grail, next year will be an repeat assault on the Chumps.

Lets just (fingers crossed!) get a title under our belts first.

I don't agree. Silverware is silverware and we are now in a strong position to pick the Carling Cup up. Only 4 games away from a trophy now.

-- Wed Nov 16, 2011 8:52 am --

If we were to win Napoli, what would you think to putting out the second side against Bayern so as to rest key individuals for Chelsea and arsenal?

Absolutely. Would be crazy not to.

Something's got to give. Nobody ever wins absolutely everything because it can't be done. Izzzz important to remain calm.
