Looked very assured and great to see him confidently stepping out to mop things up and set us off again. Playing more like Pep expects his defenders to do.

He's had a good season. It's got to be tough with Dias/Stones/Laporte in the squad but he's played well whenever called on, and offers something a bit different.

Can't ask for much more. When called upon he plays well. Can also play LB as well, albeit differently in a more defensive way, but still well.

This guy gets to play maybe once every month if he's lucky and doesn't put a foot wrong everytime. The steadier of the two centre backs today. About time the knob heads losing their shit and labelling him a liability pre-match the second they see his name on the team sheet start showing some appreciation for him. He's also a phenomenal aerial threat.

Agree. It's the usual second season syndrome. Much more confident and positive in possession and a great back up for us.

He's exactly what we need, more than capable of stepping up/in against opposition we are expected to get a result against. Gets enough starts to keep him happy, but I wouldn't feel comfortable him starting in big games
