England deserved the win but braindead stuff from Ireland.
Makes the remaining games very interesting.

Sorry only makes one game interesting and England choked it last year. I know I keep harping on about it but its all about basics, in the first half if the England winger holds the ball to his shoulder its a try, if Sexton drops out correctly no England try.
Now I hope someone smartens up Farrell quick because he's acting a C**T, now Andy Farrell was a world class player who could take it and give it out, why junior has to think he can carry on the way he is I do not know ( not like he was the star of the England team ). I hope someone soon sticks an elbow right on his napper sooner than later.

Im pissed off big time. Ireland kicking game wasn't as good as against the Welsh. Up front we done good. Attacked and the pack was mainly good. I don't know what was happening. Some margin calls going to the English at times. 2 forward passes which I have seen given before as a normal pass. Rob Kearney had him first try scorer so happy like a pig in shit when he went in got him at 16/1. Farrell Junior lucky not to be sin binned for the late tackle on Murray. IF that was a Irish player as late as Farrell the crowd would of been demanding action. Ireland tried to play and run the ball in the death but left it too late. Can someone explain the mauling to me. How Ireland got penalised for pushing England back twice by yards yet decision given to England. I just don't understand the rules. Anyway a close game I thought a draw would of been fair on both teams. Sadly not. as I said I didn't think anyone would win the grand slam. I think its still anyones to win. Wales goes to England and that knowing Wales will want to show everyone in Europe they are the best team over here and could well do a job on them. Ireland beat Italy by a good few points and go to Paris with a chance of winning the 6 Nations would be good to see. Will it happen who knows. Joe has done a good job so far and when the team gets to know him and his style of play they will be a much better team come next years 6 Nations and World Cup.

The reffing was perfectly fair, no you don't understand mauling, if you can pick out what minutes the 2 calls were I'll try and explain to you why they were given as penalties.

It was a tight game, I thought England should have had more points on the board at half time with the ball being dropped over the line and hitting the post. Fair result imo.

Without a dream 1 right at the death of the game. Were Ireland got England to the half way line. Also there was one around the hour mark or over were by the looks of things it looked like a English player came in from the side. Also kicking the ball out of a rook I don't know how many times that happened bad play by Ireland but I always thought that was a penalty against teams who done it. Yes England maybe should of had a try in the first half but for a brilliant tackle by Murray. To stop a certain try. Still there wasn't all that many try scoring chances. England done what England always do kick well. Hold onto possession well. Push teams back and control the game that's what England done in the first half. Second half more tighter with Ireland edging the half but fair play to England. Lancaster have them playing well. His 3 th season in charge and he is building well. Ireland under new management many plus points so we will get better. I think its still anyones 6 Nations to win.

Don't whine Leighton; it does you no favours. Even the panel on RTE said that England deserved the win. From my understanding (rudimentary, admittedly), if the ball is ''out'' in a ruck, the other side can kick the ball away, no touching the ball with the hand). Also;

Rook = A bird, or a piece on a chess board
Ruck = A move in a rugby game

I'll let you off with the ''of'' instead of ''have'' as City won, and I'm in a generous mood. Don't let it happen again!
