Cancelo has got a moody face, can't imagine him smiling much
He definitely comes across as a sulk, but can't help wondering how much the horrible incident with his mum has affected him as a person. Been a good player for us any how, but if we can replace him I don't see us being a worse side in the long-term

You guys watch Cancelo all the time so I don’t know what his form this season has been like but I’m still surprised you’d let him go on loan. He was the best full back in the league a year or two ago.
Overall, he was inconsistent in his first season (19/20), but slowly became a really reliable left-back in the following season (20/21) and then was the best left-back in the league last year (21/22). But for whatever reason, he hasn't been that good this year. Probably a combination of having his house broken into last year, not starting many games, and gradually losing his place in the squad to Rico Lewis and Nathan Ake. He scored a great goal against Southampton in October but he got done by Salah in the Liverpool game a week later and got sent off against Fulham shortly after. Pep's stopped trusting him since then and it seems he's thrown a tantrum about it. If we get a replacement we'll be fine.
