Credit to Zinny, Jesus and Sterling that they probably were equally unhappy at various points, but battled to their very last kicks and put out gracious statements thanking the club and the fans even if they'd had enough of Pep.
Not to mention the likes of stones and Mahrez who’ve also had rough patches and are still here fighting for (and currently earning) their places

lets hope Brighton holds firm now for a bit more.

I dont want Arsenal adding Trossard and Caicedo and we lose Cancelo. aint no way that january window would help us in the league of catching them.

if anything we need to put in a bid for Zinchenko right now lol
Cancelo has been off it for months now though? We're not in a worse place with him gone. He's been a unused sub the last 3 games.

let's hope it gets sorted and he does not feel like leaving
Several years ago I was convinced that Pep would leave us after 3 years in charge - based on several books I read about him. He did not. He renewed several times.

I think that Pep will stay with Man City - perhaps for the remainder of his career as manager. Because in Man City - he has the perfect situation. He's given a huge say in signings - and he's backed 100% by top management. Whatever Pep wants - he gets.

Perhaps Pep gets bored of managing and wants a break - and thus resigns. Might City accommodate this hiatus - allowing Pep to take a temporary break with an interim manager in charge - I think that we would absolutely do this.

If Pep leaves us - maybe it's for Barca - or the Spanish national side - things we can't offer Pep. Otherwise - I now see Pep remaining our manager until he retires from football.

I wouldn't worry about it too much!

Beckham and Keane were deemed expendable for SAF.

Only Messi was not deemed expendable for Pep and we don't have Messi.

Zlatan, Eto, Deco, Hart, Nasri, Yaya and now cancelo have been deemed expendable.

He has what matters most: the backing from the Sheikh and Khaldoon!

And its hilarious Cancelo got mad at not playing:

its definitely nothing to do with game time then

yes I know , we have been constantly adjusting all season. We are creating fewer chances though and we seem to just go through Haaland now
Haaland is our main option - an in-the-box presence.

But as part of the Haaland adjustment, we're trying to have a bigger in-box presence.

Going from a false-9 offense to a true 9 is a big change - it's a work in progress.

Turned out well for raheem
If he’d just shown more fight he could have been banging in the goals still for us… Mahrez had a terrible start to the season and Grealish is still yet to hit anything like he needs to be for this team (he’s nudging ever nearer but still needs to improve an awful lot).

Raz could have been a regular this season if he’d just been braver about winning his place back. Never mind, he’s gone now and never coming back but it was disappointing to see.

Yeah unfortunate timing imo, I think he’d be back to (near) hist best in this team
