Very true though , when he was good he was very good and now we are weakened in a key position , no bones about it

If he was causing issues behind the scene then maybe we are strengthening the squad by moving him on so swiftly.

Not worth the problems created by him staying imo.

A moaning miserable player is a very bad influence on the morale of the squad.

We will survive without him as he wasn't the solution to all issues and probably created more for others around him

If he really was causing this type of disruption and distraction to the team, we should have got rid of him earlier. Seems like the club was actually incredibly patient with him, presumably being well aware of the problems with getting rid of him outlined on this thread. Clearly things came to a pass where there was absolutely no option but for him to leave.


This would make sense and explain a LOT.

If the reports are correct and he kicked off away at chelsea at half time.. that game was 5th January, why on earth did we wait until now to act upon the situation?

piss poor management from the top could cost us dearly in the latter stage of the season.

We need all the players fighting for the cause, a good team spirit is important and it appears Cancelo had a bad attitude so he had to go. We need to move on quickly from this and get on with the job of winning games in all competitions.
