If cancelo is the leak in the dressing room then pep knows and has fucked him off. Unusually There has been all kinds of leaks coming from us this season. So this should end that. There was obviously a snake in the grass.

Looked unhappy to me all season. Can remember him scoring a decent goal against Southampton and him angrily putting his finger to his ear whilst looking at the crowd. Some said at the time it was because he didn't have his own chant! Never believed that for one second and it's quite pathetic if that was the case.

Struggling to think of a player whose form has fallen off a cliff so much in such a short space of time. I think he signed a new contract last year and I would have argued he was one of the best full backs in the world.

Can't see Bayern taking up the option to buy him. 61.5 million is a substantial amount of money for German teams that operate their finances far more sensibly.

If he has been stinking the place out sulking it's good that he's gone and may explain some of the indifferent performances from the team throughout the season. Hopefully an example to others that they will be shown the door if they don't toe the line.

Laporte has played LB for us as well. Not too bothered with this season. Looking towards next season

I think it’s more about accommodating Laporte and Ake. Both deserve a place in the team more than Cancelo at the moment and Jack seems to play better with Ake behind him.

Someone has already mentioned it but don't count Pep using Foden there out. IIRC, he has been moved to LWB twice this season for short spells in games.

Whilst it would be a waste long-term, I'm sure Foden has the talent to excel in the role.

Cancelo is clearly a cancer in the dressing room. On form he might be a great player but sometimes that’s not worth all the baggage it brings, especially if he’s dragging down others with him as seems to be the case.

Can you put a clause in a loan agreement to prevent a player playing against you or do UEFA rules not allow that?

Some of the disrespect he is getting from certain posters on here is shocking. By all means back the club if that’s what you want to do but his ability is undeniable and we will be worse off without him
