It's felt a bit stale this season with Foden getting a lot of games when out of form and jack not really pressing for a place above doku.As much as we all rated Alvarez, his inclusion for the most part of last season was a square peg in a round hole. Marmoush looks a lot more accustomed to being the second striker behind Haaland. Can't wait to see more of him.

Add Bobb returning and the fact Marmoush is the oldest at 26 next week there is reason for optimism.Early days but I’m excited by having this lad plus Doku, Savinho and Haaland as real options up front. All young players in the ascendancy. Get some midfield snap behind them and we can leave the pedestrian build-ups behind.
