Very impressive debut. Quick, mobile and a nose for goal. Even more impressive considering he had 10 minutes with the squad before playing. Are we watching a future City legend? It’s possible.

As much as we all rated Alvarez, his inclusion for the most part of last season was a square peg in a round hole. Marmoush looks a lot more accustomed to being the second striker behind Haaland. Can't wait to see more of him.
It's also a bit of competition for our attacking mids / wingers. It's felt a bit stale this season with Foden getting a lot of games when out of form and jack not really pressing for a place above doku.

Feels now like anyone starting has to play well as we will have to bench someone.

Looked very promising, some good movement and looks quick. Excited to see what we will look like if/when we sign some midfielders too, exciting times ahead. Onwards and upwards come on city

His runs were really impressive, but what he needs are players behind him who can actually notice those runs, have the vision to make the risky passes, and most importantly, be able to pull it off. Without that support, his efforts are wasted, no matter how good he is at finding space.

He did well, he will improve when he's more used to playing with the squad. He was offside 6 times he needs to time the runs better. Overall a positive display.

Early days but I’m excited by having this lad plus Doku, Savinho and Haaland as real options up front. All young players in the ascendancy. Get some midfield snap behind them and we can leave the pedestrian build-ups behind.
Add Bobb returning and the fact Marmoush is the oldest at 26 next week there is reason for optimism.

He doesn’t need to time his runs better.. it’s the Kovacic and Gundogan‘s who refuse to play long balls and rather carry the ball.

Bcoz they can’t play balls
It’s Kev or bust

Hope there is plan by club so as to how his runs will be made counted for others it wail be waste

He will be a real weapon if the timing fits better with our team knowing him, he comes from the best counter attacking team of the Bundesliga.

Still a decent debut, not a wow debut as he needs the service but im so excited what damage he & a de bruyne pass brings to the Opponents
