Definitely, he's not a winger or someone who could play far out wide, he should play more centrally as a striker, false 9, next to Haaland, or anywhere in and around the box, as his shooting is still better than anyone's besides Haaland.

Yep, he has the energy that I like. I think he would have thrived in past City teams when we were bang in form. What doesn’t help is Pep can’t decide which players he trusts in and he doesn’t allow them grow in confidence.His touch ain’t great but generally thought he was the bright spark today and could have had a few more assists.

here he wont reach those height and we will not even find a position for him. winger stuck to by line with inverted fullback behind him aint working, offensive fullback then Pep makes the winger inverted which also doesnt help Marmoush as he then taking up same positions as Haaland naturally and gravitates way too central.

At a point I thought it he was playing Uber Football, instead of passing the ball, take it all the way down to your team mate, get the 4 number code and then drop the ball off and return.

Why did he get taken off? He set up one goal and set up Haaland early but Haaland missed - much more of a threat than any other of our wingers.

Let's be fair, that assist was him trying to take on three players, that wasn't a pass and he's lucky Erling got on the end of it.
He was better today, but still I don't think he has the technical ability to play in this team. the reality is what he offers which is great pressing and effort, and an eye for goal from distance, we could've gone and gotten another Alvarez/Jesus from South America developed them and sold them, and wouldn't have to pay as much as we are paying him.
