If someone had told me 2 seasons ago, that Sterling would have a run of form, where the only thing he had going for him was his finishing/goalscoring I would have pissed myself. The rest of his game is arguably at an all-time low. Barely beats a man, average passing and for me most incredible, slows down the play.

His lack of technical skills have seen him sussed out a bit on the left wing. He doesn’t trust his left foot to go to the byline and cut crosses back and he’s doubled up on when he cuts inside. And all he does is either cut inside and runs into traffic or he stops and passes backwards.

He’s been overplayed and needs a rest too. But also he’s never had a settled left back or inside left midfielder to work combinations with this season.

I always think confidence plays a big part as well. I think he’s a bit frustrated with it all and he’s lost a bit of confidence.

He looks a shadow of the player from the previous two seasons.

Let’s give him a midweek rest and give him so decent recovery before the big Christmas schedule!

He should, but he won't. It'll be Poveda I reckon. Not sure we'll see Braaf in a squad this season.

I'd like to get a good look at ICP so I wont be too upset with that.

Might be able to up his sale price or get him a better quality loan or next team with a few first team appearances too.

No sure why hes not at Girona already to be honest. Same with Pozo.

I don't like him...

Was my favorite when he had that "Pedro" role and was trying to come out of the "flop player" shadow.
Now he is arrogant, thinks that is on the level of "Messi" or "Ronaldo" and works less for the team, is concentrated more on goals and etc.

Pep should be more strict with him. Return on the right wing and make him give those assists like he was used to during the Pep`s first two years.

Pep has created this, Sterling hasn't being play well for weeks yet has two goals in last 3 games?
That is exactly what you do when your in that top bracket of player.
