That's part and parcel of the player he needed to become.

Compare him in his first season or two to now. His legs used to turn to jelly when faced up with a defender or when presented with a decent chance.

The problem with the way he's viewed right now is that when he's in good form it's perceived as confidence but when his performances dip then it's claimed he's arrogant.

As frustrating as it might be, you can't really have one without the other. I'd much rather have the player he is now than the guy a few years ago who kept it safe 95% of the time.

No doubt he is better now than few years ago. And I blame his form a lot to playing on the right.

I do agree that the majority of the time he's better on the right but, unfortunately, he's the best option we've got on the left right now. We miss Sane's attributes.

Three players who are playing below their potential, Stones, Sterling and Mahrez all seem to have relationship issues ATM or in the recent past, that are likely proving a mental distraction. Hopefully with the right support this situation will improve soon?

He was up until November, his form fell off a cliff whereas Mane has remained consistent. Salah only getting going now.

I don't watch the scousers but the rest of the premier league is shocking and Mane is a good player, I don't dispute that.. If Mane is destroying teams why has he only scored the same amount of goals as Sterling?

I couldn't care less about 'completed dribbles', 'take ons' or anything else. Only thing that matters is goals.

Not a big fan of David Silva in his pomp then? Yes I know he was never a winger but a game and brilliance is not just dictated by goals(other inferior midfielders will have scored more than Silva). Scoring tap ins in a team that create shitloads at times does not mean he’s doing as well as Mané and Salah.

Agree he's not on form, one problem is opposing teams double up on our wingers. Sterling has pace but so do most wing backs. So our wingers inverted are cutting inside into a box full of players.

Perhaps he's got a bit too comfortable without competition for his place. Bernardo and Mahrez aren't producing either and with Sanè out it means Sterling is almost guaranteed a start, breeding ground for complacency.
