That's part and parcel of the player he needed to become.
Compare him in his first season or two to now. His legs used to turn to jelly when faced up with a defender or when presented with a decent chance.
The problem with the way he's viewed right now is that when he's in good form it's perceived as confidence but when his performances dip then it's claimed he's arrogant.
As frustrating as it might be, you can't really have one without the other. I'd much rather have the player he is now than the guy a few years ago who kept it safe 95% of the time.
No doubt he is better now than few years ago. And I blame his form a lot to playing on the right.
