Why would it?Not if it gives false impression
Nothing mate,nothing at all......carry on.What wasn't a problem?
Because you are (apologies if incorrect) using them as a basis to suggest Sterling has been playing well of late. Why would it?
No, I'm using my eyes.Because you are (apologies if incorrect) using them as a basis to suggest Sterling has been playing well of late.
Bit ignorant, mate.Nothing mate,nothing at all......carry on.
Fair enoughNo, I'm using my eyes.
I had a look back at the ratings because I couldn't believe some of the stuff I was reading on here, so wanted to see a non City view.
Wan-Bissaka did say Sterling was one of the hardest matchups he had. Sometimes it's not just dribbling that tortures defenders. Direct, off-the-ball running can destroy defenders, and Sterling is one of the best at it.
Yeah that's a problem in itself. Which kinda leads to how most are late to give credit to the more defensive players, especially if you aren't a regular spectator of the team/player.I think some people find it difficult to differentiate between an entertaining player and an effective one. It's one of the many problems with relying solely on the eye test.

So for clarity, are you saying that other than last night, Sterling has always been effective, as that's what I took from your post?I think some people find it difficult to differentiate between an entertaining player and an effective one. My bad then. I took it you were implying that people who assess a player by watching cannot determine whether said player is effective. No, that's not what was written or implied.
Ok Burnley away thenNo, that ball tonight only needed to hit him to go in, different than against Lyon.
Closer, how many has he scored when he times that excellent run to the back post?Ok Burnley away then
I think he would have been slightly ahead of the ball last night and, had it got through to him, it would have bounced off him away from the goals. Doesn't matter though as it went in.Closer, how many has he scored when he times that excellent run to the back post?
I think the 100 or so times he's got it right are more than fairly cancelled out by the 2 or 3 times he didn't...Closer, how many has he scored when he times that excellent run to the back post?
