My missus' who watches every Spurs game, finds Son inconsistent and frustrating.

Son is a better finisher but Sterling's game is superior in all other aspects, IMO.
Grass is always greener and all that,Having said that think Son has improved the last 12 -18 months, then again he's 3 years older than Sterling and at 28 should be peaking.Sterling can improve even more.

I would also suggest that Son often plays in a lot of space, unlike Sterling who plays against packed defences most weeks. Easier to show your wares when playing against one defender with plenty of space either side and behind.

No offence mate but that is a crazy idea. Son is great and I'd love him at City but not at the expense of Sterling.

I agree with ya. In an ideal world we would just drop the £100m or so it would probably take to purchase him and have him on the left and Sterling on the right. Plus drop another £150m and have his mate Kane up front. I think in the current climate its unlikely we spend £100m+ on a single player though and going forward we might see some deals (not just at City) that shock us, as teams feel the pinch of COVID. The bigger the pinch, the fewer players there are that clubs can command a huge fee for. Sterling is probably 1 of only 2 players now at City where we could command a fee of £100m+ and I wouldn't consider selling the other guy at any price.
