In the 62nd minute of Liverpool-Spurs, trailing 2-1, Harry Kane misses a big chance. Spurs lose the game.

85th minute, Spurs vs Palace, Kane misses a big chance (0.4xG) and Spurs draw.

Tottenham v Fulham, 29th minute, Kane misses a big chance (0.51xG) and Spurs draw.

You don't remember them because you're not a Spurs fan, they don't effect you.
so no CL exits or derby defeats resulting from them then. Raz misses the same number of chances of that ilk in a single game, difference is he pads his stats out with tap-ins that are 99% certainty to score.

Sterling plays for us, is on mega money and has been a pro for many years. As said above, not interested in what other teams do, Im wanting the best for us, and I dont think his stats and performances warrant the hype many want to give him

Sterling doesn’t play in a vacuum, he exists in a team and in a league with comparable players. Also what hype? This thread is basically populated by lads giving him shit. The most hype thing being said is he’s not half as bad as people like you keep attempting to make out.

The difference is Kane is a 9 and supposed to be the best in the league. Raz is expected to pick up Aguero’s slack without his natural finishing ability.

I think if you read back a few weeks/months, claims of best winger in the league/world were being heralded. Plays poorly simply because he is being played out of position on the elft and is much better on the right etc.

He's been getting shit on here for weeks because his performances have warrant that feedback

As I'm sure you already worked out, I was just looking at PL games this season.

pads his stats

I'm wondering where this ridiculous turn of phrase has come from over the last couple of years. It sounds very ESPN.

Claiming that one of our most prolific goalscorers has been "stat padding" over a three year period when he's averaged between 25-30 goals a season is pretty stupid.

Those goals have contributed to an unparalleled amount of success in English football and, whether people like it or not, a tap in against Burnley is worth just as much as a 30 yard rocket against united.

If someone has a sitter to score I expect them to score it, as do the rest of the fans. He's an England international with hundreds of professional games under his belt, these misses shouldn't continue to blight a top level player. There's no excuse. Deliver at the level required for a club of our ambitions in the key moments or go down to a level you're comfortable at and it doesn't matter if you miss. The credit for that run in 17/18 has long since run out with the moments he costs us because he's regressed like Jesus, rather than progressed.

no, it isn't. That's why his Lyon miss costs more than, for example, a tap-in at Burnley. Because it does. Same way nobody really gives a fuck if Mahrez scores a hat-trick v Burnley when he shits the bed in games like Sunday, people want our front men to deliver in the key games and big moments, that's why they're paid the bigger bucks and given our shirt.

Even then, Raz is also famous for missing a sitter at Burnley which costs us points, so he can't even get that right.

You don’t decide any of those things the club do. As a supporter if you take that kind if attitude you’re really not my cup of tea at all. Raz is the most unfairly maligned player in our squad and lazy assessments which have no baring on reality from Blues is as bad as anything that people cry about in the media thread.
