Should be nowhere near the final.
The drop off has been unreal, we net 4 tonight yet he's not involved in any of them.
Really disappointed in what's happened to him.
Hope he gets sold.

Has anyone polarised view more than Sterling:

From World class and worth £300k a week - to hopeless and should be fucked off immediately.

For 3 seasons he was immense.

This season he has been mostly awful - just woeful.

I don't know what the answer is, but it can't be a new and improved contract.

He's earning more than Mahrez and Foden combined - much more. Is this justified?

He was shite the season before last in terms of general play but great movement and plenty of tap ins meant it wasn’t picked up on much.

It's sad to see what's happened to him, really.

It's the right time to sell. The only functioning genuine winger we've got right now is Mahrez, and he's not the quickest - can't carry that into next season.

I agree, particularly Sterling.

We are playing a much slower game this season. It's massively benefitted our midfield players or players that play at a slower pace (Mahrez, Gundogan, Stones etc). But our players who benefit from playing at a faster pace (Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, and Torres) are more out of their comfort zone than ever.

I don't think we'll return to 17-18 levels due to fitness concerns, but with a forward like Haaland we can get away with a bit more forwardness. Which would suit Sterling.
He has scored 12 goals and got 10 assists in his last 16 England games. He's scored or created almost exactly 50% of Englands goals in that time frame.

He's the first name on the teamsheet alongside Kane, and he will start every game at the Euros.
That’ll be why England do fuck all again despite having their most talented squad in 40 years. If the likes of Sterling and Rashford start ahead of Foden and Grealish it’s comical.

Sterling and Jesus would look more confident and better players if Erling Haaland arrives
I agree the team would have an outlet, but that wouldn't improve Sterling's ability to control or pass the ball, make the right decision, stay on his feet, fight for the ball,or hold up play.
There is a huge lack of substance to his performances,he doesn't offer or do enough to justify his inclusion ahead of others. Those opportunities would be further restricted if a couple of attackers arrive as expected in the summer.

I think its Pep fault.

After Sterling best season, he changed his position from RW to LW.
